An Introduction to 'Principles-Based Advice'

If you'd like to find out more about how the new FSA regulatory regime influences the form and structure of financial advice in the UK, please visit our sister-site by clicking here.

General Insurance Broking

As a Network, ValidPath has remained focused on financial planning, and chosen not to offer a facility for full-blown general insurance broking.

If you are interested in offering the broadest possible range of services in relation to personal and commercial general insurance products, we recommend you take a look at TEn insurance, a specialist Network focusing solely on the area of general insurance.  This is an excellent website, which clearly sets forth the objectives and scope of teninsurance's services.

Welsh Photography

Now this has absolutely nothing to do with financial services, but if you like fantastic quality scenic photography, then you are going to love this website!

Click on http://www.christancock.com/menu/Welcome.html for one of the best introductions to Welsh photographic art.  Of course, the subject-matter is amongst the most beautiful and inspiring in the world, but what Chris Tancock, an accomplished landscape photographer, has achieved here is simply phenomenal.

Commercial Photography

In our humble opinion, one of the most talented professional photographers around - and he's based in Wales.  Phil Boorman has established an enviable reputation for creative and innovative commercial photography, and is currently used by multi-nationals and local businesses alike.

If Music Be The Food of Love...

At the end of a stressful day supporting firms of IFAs all over the UK, our Managing Director goes home and finds solace in playing the piano.  Inevitably, given the challenges of the financial marketplace, any instrument ends up taking rather a hammering, which meant that it became time to find a replacement piano.

After a series of profoundly unimpressive encounters with piano-dealers in the area, our MD had the good fortune to come across Stuart Jones Pianos in Newtown, Mid-Wales.  What a refreshing difference!  A wider-range of piano specs and makes than he had encountered anywhere else, plus Stuart's innovative and unique approach to setting a new piano up, precisely to suit the customer's ear.

If you love music, if you want to shop around from a comprehensive range, and if you appreciate a technically-excellent, personalised service, then this really is the place to buy.
