In our humble opinion, the new partnership with BlueCoat Software to implement a national backoffice structure for Appointed Representative firms represents the best value deal on the UK market.

 Top-Ten Qualifier for Welsh Business in 2008

National firms may not be aware of the annual award for the top fifty Welsh businesses, as measured by improved turnover over a two year period.  In the 2008 awards, 2020 Financial Services Ltd were not only a top-fifty qualifier, but also made it into the top ten firms in Wales, out of a potential universe of 195,000.

What's Coming Up in 2008?

2020 Financial Services are addressing the challenge of the FSA's Retail Distribution Review head-on, at our RDR Attack in February 2008.  Linked to this event, we hope to launch a series of unique new resources which, in the words of the immortal George W Bush will enable firms to 'robustify' the advice process.

The first of our new series of Quarterly Concentrated CPD  events will be held on November 5th & 6th 2008, in Reading.  Members will receive technical training across a range of relevant areas, plus coaching in building an 'RDR-Ready' business model.

Events in 2007

In the last calendar year, we rang the changes and instead of holding one big centralised Conference, we ran a series of smaller training events around the UK.  Our new 'IFA Accelerator' workshops were held in London, Darlington and Burton on Trent.  We also ran a successful Will-Planning workshop in conjunction with the Society of Will-Writers in London.

In 2007, we also saw the launch of our sister company ValidPath Ltd which designs and markets information and marketing products for the accountancy and financial services market.

Finally, as a number of anticipated downward trends occurred within the UK and world markets, we produced a series of new resources, building upon the approach advocated in our 'Recession-Proof' workshop in 2006.

Events in 2006

In July 2006, we held our successful 'Recession-Proof Your Business' workshop in London at the IOD, Pall Mall. 

2020 Financial Services Ltd held its annual Members' AwayDay in the Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel from 12th - 13th October 2006.

Guest contributors included:  Axa Sun Life, Certior Ltd, Society of Will-Planners, Hek Jones Solicitors, Tax Review UK.
