Passionate about Independent Financial Advice

Sometimes it seems as if the rest of the market is simply pragmatic about the value of genuinely independent advice.

 

Following the introduction of depolarisation, major firms jockey for position, buy their distribution channels, straddle the previous boundaries between tied advice and independency with a variety of multi-tie models, or simply white label products.  The big product-providers buy their piece of the independent market through the acquisition of networks.

 

Even the previous big IFA players are beginning to look quite different, certainly those that impose restrictive panels upon their Members.

 

At 2020 Financial Services Ltd we love the independent market!  We really value the ability to comment impartially on all product-provider offerings.  We feel that our clients deserve the reassurance of knowing that we represent their interests, not those of a product-provider.  And we believe that the new depolarised market is simply too grey, too confusing for the majority of consumers to be absolutely certain what kind of advice they are getting - notwithstanding the barrage of initial disclosure information that now hits them.
